Payment Policy

Effective From: 14 August 2026

At VelBake, we aim to keep every order simple, transparent, and secure. The following payment policy applies to all cake, dessert, bakery, customized, pickup, and delivery orders.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

VelBake accepts:

  • UPI
  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • Cash
  • Online payment through approved payment platforms
  • Other payment methods specifically offered by VelBake

2. Advance Payment

  • Regular orders may require full or partial advance payment before preparation.
  • Customized cakes, photo cakes, theme cakes, and special orders require an advance payment to confirm the order.
  • The order will be considered confirmed only after the required payment has been received.

3. Customized Orders

For customized or specially prepared products:

  • Advance payment may be 50%ā€“100%, depending on the order.
  • Once preparation has started, the advance payment may be non-refundable because ingredients and customized materials may already have been procured.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellation requests should be made as early as possible.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the order status and preparation stage.
  • Orders already prepared or dispatched may not be eligible for a refund.
  • Any approved refund will be processed through the original payment method wherever possible.

5. Delivery Orders

  • Delivery charges, if applicable, must be paid along with the order unless otherwise agreed.
  • Cash-on-delivery, where available, is subject to VelBake's discretion and may not be available for customized or high-value orders.

6. Payment Confirmation

Customers should retain their payment receipt, transaction ID, or confirmation message until the order has been successfully delivered or collected.

7. Incorrect Payment

If a customer accidentally makes a duplicate or incorrect payment, they should contact VelBake with the transaction details. The matter will be verified before any refund or adjustment is processed.

8. Price Changes

VelBake reserves the right to change product prices, offers, delivery charges, or payment conditions without prior notice. The price applicable at the time the order is confirmed will normally apply.

9. Disputes

Any payment-related issue should first be reported directly to VelBake with the order number and payment details so that it can be investigated and resolved.
